This was the first unmanned petrol filing station developed by Maxol Ltd in Southern Ireland. The project included for the demolition of the existing Texaco petrol filling station and the construction of a starting gate layout petrol facility with automatic carwash facilities. 150000 litres of underground storage tanks was used within the construction of the site along with greywater systems and a recycling system for the carwash. Specific attention was required in respect of the discharge from the site due to the site being located within an area of Special Interest under European Designation.
