Located on the Newcastle Road, this was originally a smaller site with an adjacent dwelling. The existing buildings were demolished to make way for the new store and petrol forecourt that is now orientated to face visitors on their approach to Kilkeel.

The building is single storey with a mono-pitched roof and full height glazing to front and roadside elevations. A covered canopy, that has roller shutters concealed along the structural columns and within the aluminium ceiling above, extends out from the building to allow for external bulky goods such as coal to be stored. Provision has been made for a lift pit within the design should the client need to extend to first floor, subject to planning permission being sought.
